Suzette is sister to Selena and A.B. and one of the band members of Selena y Los Dinos.
Plot summary[]
Suzette and her family are living in Texas. They start a family band, which comprises of Selena, Suzette and AB - the band is called Southern Pearl, a cover band that sings golden oldies.
Suzette is learning how to play the drums. However, after the band starts to see more success, Suzette started feeling that her contribution to the band wasn’t as significant as the others. However, after a gig, she is touched to meet a young Mexican fan who wants to be a female drummer just like her.
The band starts to work on their first album. Selena and Suzette design clothes for the album cover, but are forced by EMI's stylists into an "exotic" look that the whole band hates.
Suzette worries when Selena gets close with Chris that her father will be very upset. She tries to warn Selena.
At the end of Part 1, at the request of her father, Suzette contacts Yolanda Saldivar, a fan who has volunteered to manage the fan club for free.
In Part 2, Suzette's boyfriend, Bill, proposes to her. After Selena's death, Suzette took up Selena's role giving talks at school.
