"Se Acabo Aquel Amor" was created by Selena's father, Abraham Quintanilla, Jr[1]. In English translation the song is called "That Love Is Over". In 1983, Selena's father was searching around for an record company for his kids. Abraham Quintanilla, Jr wrote "Se Acabo Aquel Amor" for his daughter "Selena" who was the lead singer of Selena y Los Dinos[1]. Selena recorded the song before it was known to be on her debutalbum "Selena Y Los Dinos" (re-released in 1995 as Mis Primeras Grabaciones) in 1984. "Se Acabo Aquel Amor" was released as a vinyl format in 1983. The track for "Se Acabo Aquel Amor" was only seen on Selena's album "Mis Primeras Grabaciones". In 1997 "Se Acabo Aquel Amor" was seen in the Selena movie. The song was also featured on Selena. In 2004, Selena's father released the song under an unreleased title called "Regresa A Mi" (Return To Me) as it would have been called in her album Selena Y Sus Inicios Vol. 4.
