"Disco Medley"
Frederick Perren, Dino Fekaris, Steve Greenberg, Paul Jabara, Van McCoy, Donna Summer, Giorgio Moroder
This concert was featured in the film based upon the life of Selena.
The opening scene in Selena is a recreation of the actual "Disco Medley" performance. However, the version of the song used in the film is much shorter.
"Si Una Vez" is also featured towards the end of the film. The performance recreated for the film was short upon its release in theaters, but an extended scene in the TV Version and the new DVD edition of the film contains the song in almost complete entirety.
This concert held the record for the largest crowd in the history of the Houston Astrodome until April 1, 2001.
